Welcome to Hazy. Hazy is an AI product (including websites, mobile apps, collectively "Hazy" or "the Product") developed and operated by Shanghai Jeele Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates ("Hazy" or "we", see Hazy Terms of Service). We take your privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws and standards. When you use Hazy, we collect and use your information as set out in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains:

This Privacy Policy is closely linked to the product and its features. We will collect, store, use, and provide your information in accordance with this policy. Please read and understand it in full, especially the parts that may significantly affect your rights (highlighted or in bold). By clicking "Agree" or otherwise accepting this policy, you consent to Hazy collecting, storing, using, and disclosing your personal information as described herein.
I. How we collect and use your information
(1) We collect your personal information mainly through the following channels
1. Information you provide directly
We may collect and store information you submit in product pages, written materials you provide, information you publish or submit while using the product (e.g. preferences, interactions), information you provide when contacting us, and information about your activities and behavior.
2. Information we collect automatically
When you register, log in, use our services, or when we handle complaints or disputes, we collect information from your devices (computer, phone, etc.), information you authorize us to obtain, and device-related information.
3. Information from other sources
With your consent, we may also obtain your information from Hazy affiliates, partners, or other lawful third parties that hold your information.
(2) How we use your information
Hazy provides various features that require collecting or using your personal information. Without such information we cannot provide the corresponding features or services. These include:
1. Registration / Login
(1) When registering, you need to provide your phone number and SMS verification code.
(2) When using "one-tap login", with your consent we process your phone number with your carrier to provide quick login. If you refuse, you cannot use one-tap login but may use other login methods.
2. Identity verification
To comply with regulations on generative AI services and to protect minors, when our platform identifies you as a suspected minor user, you may need to complete identity verification.
Through Hazy's verification process you may need to provide your real name and ID number. You authorize us to provide, query, or verify this information with relevant authorities or certified third parties. We will not use your verification information for other purposes without your consent or as required by law. If you refuse to provide it, you may not be able to use certain products or services.
If we need to collect your identity information in other scenarios, we will seek your consent separately.
3. Connecting to AI agents
After login, you can connect to your AI agent. We may ask you to answer preset questions or complete tasks so we can recommend an agent for you. We may collect and use your nickname so your agent can address you. If you refuse, you may not be able to connect to the recommended agent.
4. Creating agents
You can create and/or publish agents. We collect basic agent settings (name, description, appearance, voice, visibility). You may use your own voice for the agent and must ensure it is your voice.
5. Dialogue and interaction
After connecting to an agent, you can chat with it.
We analyze your text and context to provide relevant responses and use your feedback (e.g. likes, reports) to improve our services.
When you use voice features we need microphone and recording permission. If you refuse, you cannot use voice interaction.
We strongly recommend that you do not enter your or others' personal information in conversations. We may use input and feedback for model training and will apply security and de-identification measures as required by law. We do not link your conversations to your registered identity. We filter and delete content that may contain personal or sensitive information.
If you have accidentally provided personal information and are concerned, contact us; we will investigate, delete, or de-identify it on our systems. Costs may be allocated on a fair basis; we may assert exemptions for losses due to technical limitations.
6. Achievement system
When you interact with agents you may trigger "achievements." We record and store your achievement history and process it on our servers to better understand your preferences and behavior.
7. Customer service
When you contact us we may require and use your phone number, Hazy account, and usage information. We use this to verify your identity and to provide support. If you refuse, we may not be able to provide the service.
8. High-fidelity generation
When you use high-fidelity generation we may request album permission and your portrait materials to provide high-fidelity images.
You may refuse and upload other images instead. We offer basic (1 portrait) and advanced (multiple) options. We use encryption and delete relevant information after the service is complete. We do not use your portrait beyond the scope of your authorization.
9. Service security
To ensure system stability and security we collect information such as device model, OS version, device identifiers, network address, login information, and risk-related data. We may collect running processes, crash reports, performance data, and installation usage. We use device information for analysis and troubleshooting. Without this information we cannot protect your account and service security.
10. Service improvement
We collect usage data, device information, click frequency, and dwell time to improve our services, conduct analysis and research, and work with third-party SDKs. We may associate information across devices and services to serve you.
11. Account system
To establish an account system we need to collect your Android ID to provide basic services.
12. Device permissions
Using certain Hazy features may require permissions (e.g. network, album for avatars; clipboard for sharing). We will prompt you when we first need a permission. Granting permission means you authorize us to collect and use the related information; revoking permission stops collection and may disable the related feature. Revocation does not affect prior processing.
If we need other permissions we will request them separately.
13. Personalized recommendation
To provide more relevant content and services we offer personalized recommendations. We may collect your input (e.g. dialogue, search), behavior (clicks, browsing, sharing), device information, and information from partners. We analyze this to predict preferences and provide recommendations.
You can turn personalized recommendations on or off in [Profile - Settings - Personalized recommendations]. If you turn it off you will not see personalized content but can still browse non-personalized content.
(3) We may collect and use personal information without your consent in the following circumstances
- Related to national security or defense;
- Related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
- Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or execution;
- Where necessary to protect life, property or other major interests and it is difficult to obtain your consent;
- Where the information is voluntarily made public by you;
- Where the information is from lawful public disclosure;
- Where necessary for contract performance at your request;
- Where necessary for secure and stable operation of the product;
- Where necessary for statistical or academic research in the public interest, with de-identification;
- Other circumstances prescribed by law.
(4) Obtaining your information from third parties
We may obtain your account or other information from third parties with your authorization and use it in accordance with agreements and applicable law after you accept this policy.
(5) Other uses
1. We may use de-identified information that no longer identifies you; we may analyze user databases for commercial use without disclosing your identity. 2. We may share statistical information with the public or third parties; such statistics do not identify you. 3. When displaying your information we may use replacement or anonymization. 4. For uses not set out in this policy we will seek your consent in advance.
II. Entrustment, sharing, transfer, and disclosure of your information
(1) Entrustment and sharing
We do not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual unless:
(1) We have your consent or authorization;
(2) You request it;
(3) Required by applicable law, legal process, or competent authorities;
(4) Necessary to provide you services (e.g. with partners for login, dialogue, AI features). We only share what is necessary and our partners may not use it for other purposes. See our Third-Party Information Sharing List. We may use content moderation, ad, or analytics partners. When we integrate third-party SDKs they may collect information; please review their privacy policies. We will use reasonable efforts to require them to protect your information but cannot guarantee their conduct.
(5) When you participate in marketing activities we may share name, contact, etc. with affiliates or partners with your consent. (6) We may share with our affiliates as necessary, subject to this policy. (7) Other circumstances under law.
We require parties with whom we share information to keep it confidential and to handle it in line with our agreements and this policy.
(2) Transfer
We do not transfer your personal information unless: (1) we have your consent; (2) required by law or authorities; (3) under agreements with you; (4) in connection with merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, in which case the new holder will be bound by this policy or we will seek your consent again.
(3) Disclosure
We only disclose your information when: (1) you consent to a specific disclosure; (2) required by law or authorities; (3) you disclose it in the product; (4) otherwise required by law.
III. How we protect and store your information
(1) Technical and organizational measures
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
1. Data security
We use encryption and strict access controls. We train our staff and have security experts review our systems.
2. Incident response
(1) In the event of a security incident we will notify you as required by law of the situation, impact, measures, and recommendations. We will report to regulators as required. (2) Despite our measures we cannot guarantee absolute security due to the nature of the internet. If you discover a leak, especially of your account or password, contact us immediately.
(2) Retention
1. We store personal information collected in China within China. 2. We generally retain your information only as long as necessary unless law requires otherwise (e.g. legal compliance, disputes, government requirements, protection of rights). After the retention period we delete or anonymize your information. 3. If we terminate the service we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and delete or anonymize your information afterward. 4. Anonymized information may be retained and used without further notice or consent.
IV. How you can manage your personal information
We respect your rights to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent regarding your information. You can manage your information as follows:
1. Access, copy, correct, supplement, and transfer
Except as required by law, contact us for requests regarding your information. We will respond within the time and in the manner set out in this policy. Some information (e.g. for security or legal compliance) cannot be changed or deleted by you.
2. Deletion
You may request deletion when: we process information in violation of law; we did not obtain your consent; we breached our agreement with you; you no longer use our product or have closed your account; we have terminated the service.
After we receive your request we will process it as required and inform you. We will also ask entities that received your information to delete it where applicable. Deletion from our services may not be immediate in backups but will be done when backups are updated.
3. Withdraw consent
You can enable or disable device permissions (e.g. microphone, album) in your device's privacy settings. You may also contact us by email (vdaovv@gmail.com) or as set out in Section VII to withdraw consent. Withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide the related service or process the related information; it does not affect prior processing.
4. Deceased users
After a user (natural person) passes away, their close relatives may, for their lawful interests, exercise rights to access, correct, or delete the user's information via the contact means in this policy, unless the user arranged otherwise. Relatives may need to complete identity verification and confirm that exercising rights does not contradict the deceased's wishes and is lawful.
5. Account closure
You may contact us as set out in Section VII to request account or service closure. We will process your request after verifying the details.
6. Responding to your requests
For security we may require you to provide written materials or otherwise prove your identity. We will respond within 15 business days after verification. We generally do not charge for reasonable requests but may charge for repeated or excessive requests. We may refuse requests that are repetitive, require excessive technical means, risk others' rights, or are impractical. We may be unable to respond where required by law, e.g. related to national security, public safety, criminal proceedings, or where there is evidence of bad faith or abuse.
V. Protection of minors
1. We attach great importance to protecting minors' information. Our product is mainly for adults. If you are a minor you should use the product under your guardian's supervision and with their consent after reading and agreeing to this policy and the Hazy Minor Protection Rules. Without guardian consent we may restrict the account. 2. When we collect minors' information with guardian consent we use it only as permitted by law or as necessary to protect the minor. 3. If your guardian does not agree to you providing your information, please inform us so we can process it. 4. For more information see our Hazy Minor Protection Rules.
VI. Notices and updates
1. We may update this policy as our services and business develop. We will not reduce your rights without your consent. We will publish updates on our official site and product and notify you before they take effect. 2. For material changes we will provide more prominent notice (e.g. email, SMS, in-product notice). Material changes include: material change in our business or service model, type or use of personal information; material change in ownership or structure; change in main recipients of sharing, transfer, or disclosure; material change in your rights or how to exercise them; change in our security contact or complaint channel; or when a security impact assessment shows high risk.
